Hi and welcome to my website. I have been very fortunate to have many people support me over the years in my quest to be the best swimmer that I can be and to represent Australia at the Olympics.  If you are aiming to improve your skills to the highest level, then make sure that you surround yourself with the right people.  You need people who are knowledgeable, helpful and have a positive attitude.

To make it to the top in whatever you do, takes consistency, commitment and passion.  I recall fondly the day I made a decision to attend every session that I could when I was training with the Nunawading Swimming Club; and I did it.  I attended every session possible for more than a year and when I raced, my times fell very quickly.  To achieve your goals in life you must be consistent and committed.  I have been successful in both of these areas.  More recently I have been training at the AIS in Canberra and I have continued to be consistent in my training and committed to achieving the goals I have set.

To be successful, you also need passion, not just in training and competition, but also in life.  The world would be a better place if we all lived with passion.  Love what you do and do what you love.

I would like to thank all the well-wishers and supporters for their support on my journey to Beijing and I really appreciate all the messages of good luck I have received.
